Our Snorkeling Adventure

We snorkeled at Shark Ray Alley, Mexico Rocks, and Caye Caulker, and the diversity of marine life was truly remarkable. We encountered nurse sharks, stingrays, sea turtles, and a myriad of tropical fish. The coral formations at Mexico Rocks and the vibrant underwater landscapes at Caye Caulker were breathtaking.

We visited the area in August, and the waters were crystal clear, providing perfect conditions for snorkeling. We took the tour twice with Gaviota Sailing, and both times, the experience was incredible. Our tour guides were knowledgeable and ensured our safety while swimming along the reef. The guided full-day tour through Hol Chan Marine Reserve was particularly memorable, allowing us to see a wide range of marine life and learn about the ecosystem. Swimming alongside the reef, spotting manatees and sea turtles, was an unforgettable experience.
